What It Is
Many different funding sources can pay for supports and services to enable individuals with disabilities and their families to live their preferred life. Once an individual has access to these sources of funding, he or she, with assistance from the circle of support, can develop an individualized budget based on the service and support needs identified through person-centered planning.
What We're Doing
We are especially interested in policies and programs that enable individuals with disabilities and /or the circle of support (including family members) to exercise choice and control over such funding sources as Medicaid (waivers), Social Security (SSI/SSDI), Vocational Rehabilitation, Housing (vouchers), and personal asset development.
